“English to Live and Work” Project Opportunities for Displaced Communities of Lichfield | September 2025 – March 2026
We’re delighted to have received funding from the Community Foundation for Staffordshire for our English to Live and Work project for refugees and displaced people living in Lichfield, and we’re happy to announce its launch this September.
The project will run until March 2026, but we are eager to find additional funding to extend it further.
The aim of the project is to provide language-learning opportunities to enable Ukrainian, Afghan, and Hong Kong Chinese residents in Lichfield to live and work in the UK. To achieve this aim, we offer our beneficiaries the following FREE opportunities:
✅ Face-to-face English classes (B1–B2 level) with a native English-speaking teacher
❓ What’s in it for you: grammar, vocabulary building, employment skills, life in the UK
📅 When: Weekdays during school term times (exact day to be confirmed)
🔔 Start: Second week of September (exact date to be confirmed)
🕘 Time: Morning or daytime (exact time to be confirmed)
⏳ Duration: 1.5 hours
